It's Good to Dream Sometimes Fellowship Grant
We are eager to announce the launch of the "It's Good To Dream Sometimes" Fellowship Grant. Following the sudden and tragic death of Sergiusz Scheller, the fund was created in his honor to support initiatives by young adults looking to strengthen our world's moral fabric through intercultural and interfaith programming.
The expected launch date is June 2019.
What is it? "It's Good To Dream Sometimes" is a seed grant for any individual interested in developing a program that provides themselves and a wider community an opportunity to engage in a unique multi-cultural or interfaith experience. We are looking for people who, in their own ways, look to be a community educator or activist with ideas for programs and creative projects that aim to break down barriers and inspire world-view community growth. At a time when the world is becoming smaller, the opportunities to learn across cultures is growing.
We are looking for creative programming that echo these values and promotes peace amongst neighbors. Programs could range from interfaith services and dinners, to an education podcast on cultural norms, to working on a documentary project, to a learning language through farming course, and anything in between. We want to support those who are creative and passionate about taking international values and creating intimate learning experiences.
What do I get? We are sponsoring up to $2,000 in grant funding for your project and will offer two grants a year. We hope to build a large alumni network and continue highlighting, sharing and promoting your programs and bodies of work as they progress.
Who can apply? This grant is open to people from all backgrounds and up to 28 years old. "It's Good to Dream Sometimes" is a fund based in the Greater Boston Area, but we are open to, and hoping to, support initiatives anywhere in the U.S. and internationally.
